Here comes the another young Japanese melodic punk band! If you're into Japanese sounds like Snuffy Smile bands, then you need to check them out. Slugger Machine is the band from Yokosuka in Yokohama. Some of you may know  US base camp in Yokosuka. If you don't know, forget about that! Anyway, they've playing for a couple of years with DIY positive way. They constantly organize the local gigs in their town, and also they go to play bunch of places these days. Now they start getting attention by their strong gigs in Japanese underground scene. I knew them because some of them were in the band, called "loll" who were on our popular compilation album. While they are recording this album, the engineer who almost record our bands called me up and told me that Waterslide should produce this band. So I went to their recording session and after one moment I decided to put this out! Their sound remind me of 90's good & old melodic punk bands on Snuffy Smile, but also today's going sound at the same time. They don't rely on just bpm which I don't like, they have their melody with their emotional heart. Sad, blue, singalong-able. If you look for the bands like this, you will meet them.
