Searching for a land was the third record for New Trolls and also the first double LP featuring hard rock ever released in Italy. Being recorded after the huge success of "Concerto Grosso", it is entirely sung in English, in order to sell also to foreign record markets. While the first part of the record has a nice orchestral approach (especially the wonderful "St. Peter's Day") and some blues-rock influences, the second part (that was the second vinyl in its original release) was
recorded live and is completely different, showing the more hard and savage aspect of New Trolls, resembling their first legendary live appearances. A classic!
