"In Pop We Trust" is the all new studio-album by an act, that has gained great attention and respect with their first album on Dark Vinyl: "Echos of the West" was described as a combination of the elements of industrial music and cold-pop of the 80s and the band has been compared with SPK or HAUS ARAFNA. They toured with Rorschach Garden and with Sol Invictus to promote "Echos of the West". On their new album, this German outfit is moving into more melodic and partly even danceable minimal electro songs, away from industrial to more poppy tracks. "In Pop We Trust" thus is comparable to bands such as RORSCHACH GARDEN or BAKTERIELLE INFEKTION, that belong to the spearheads of the ever rising German minimal electro- (or modern pop-/angst pop-) scene, that takes inspiration from the 80s. ECHO WEST presented their new album at Wave Gotik Treffen in Leipzig, June 2006 and the new songs were welcomed extremely well! File under minimal/modern pop.
