La Mu?eca de Sal es un caótico colectivo de música libre, experimental e instrumental. En 2000 aparece su debut para Everlasting, un EP de 4 temas llamado 'Marina'. Tras generar cierta expectación con su primer lanzamiento en su nuevo sello, La Mu?eca de Sal se marchan al norte, a Andoain, a grabar su próximo largo con el maestro Kaki Arkarazo. En un estudio y un ambiente de ensue?o se concretan las canciones de 'El Objeto Inexistente', doble álbum publicado en 2001, que les lleva a actuar en el Festival de Benic?ssim en el verano de 2002. Tras 'El objeto inexistente', sorprenden con la publicación de 'Geometría' en 2005. El disco pasa algo inadvertido, pero a pesar de ello, los lectores de la revista rockdelux lo seleccionan entre los mejores del a?o. Hay vida...La gira de presentación de 'Geometría' confirma el magnífico directo de la banda, que ha compartido cartel con Manta Ray, Corcobado, Yo La Tengo, Experience, … En estos momentos, La Mu?eca de Sal están centrados en dos proyectos simultáneos: por un lado acaban de editar 'Teología', la parte complementaria de 'Geometría' (según la visión del mundo de Ignatius P. Reilly, el protagonista de 'la conjura de los necios ' de John Kennedy Toole). Por otro, han publicado un vinilo de 7”, “Blues for Bobby Solo” en el sello británico Chaffinch Records junto al cantante Anthony Reynolds, quien fuese líder en los 90 de la mítica banda Jack, con quien preparan disco para finales de este a?o. La Mu?eca de Sal is a chaotic collective of instrumental and experimental musicians. In 2000 they released their debut for Everlasting Records – Recordings from the other side, a 4-track EP called “Marina”. After that, they went to the north of Spain to record their next album with the production of Kaki Arkarazo. There, they materialized their double album 'El Objeto Inexistente', released by Everlasting – REFTOS in 2001, which led them to play at the Benic?ssim Festival (FIB) in 2002. After 'El objeto inexistente', they released 'Geometría' in 2005. The album didn't make a lot of noise, yet the readers of Rockdelux magazine vote for it as one of 2005's best albums. The album was followed by a long tour, during which they were the supporting act for great bands as Yo La Tengo, Experience, Manta Ray, … Nowadays, La Mu?eca de Sal are simultaneously focused on two projects: They have just released “Teología”, the second part of “Geometría” (according to the vision of the world that Ignatius P. Reilly, main character of John K. Toole's novel “A confederacy of dunces”, has). Also, british label Chaffinch Records has just released “Blues for Bobby Solo”, a beautiful 7” vinyl that La Mu?eca de Sal have recorded along with Anthony Reynolds, ex-leader of the band called Jack, who released milestone albums such as “The Jazz Age” in the 90's, and with whom they are recording material for a full length to be released later this year by Chaffinch Records.
