IN Trio formed in 2011 when Tim Armacost, Harvie S and Christian Finger discovered how much they enjoyed playing together. IN works around New York City, and is looking forward to taking the band on the road now that the first CD is in the bag. All three members write original compositions for the group, all three participate in the business of booking work, and all three are invested in taking the band to the next level. The music is rooted in the tradition of straight ahead jazz, and the group is open to taking the music as far as it wants to go in any given direction.
