Popis - THE SIMPLE THINGS:
After each member struggled through decades of bar gigs and small ticket events... BRANDID was established in the mid-summer of 2007. With musical backgrounds from country, blues, and Texas rock. The group formed, not knowing the exact direction they would be heading. Starting out with only three members, complicity was not an option. At first they kept their sound clean and tight, only the basics. While discovering their fate, playing the type of same old bar band cover tunes would enable them to play songs that the crowds were familiar with to build confidence and a strong fan base. This also enabled them to go through the ups and downs of any young band. Eventually came a time where they felt a need to branch out and seek further into themselves and develop a sound that was one of their own. With a multiple of different genre backgrounds, the band eventually hooked up with a seasoned steel guitar and lead player. Soon after, they acquired another lead player with blues rock background. The band now plays across Western Canada as a 5 piece and occasional 6th. With duelling lead player, a steel guitar, Dobro, mandolin, and fiddle. They play all types of venues from Cabarets to outdoor concerts, bars and arenas. Recently with enough confidence Brandid has released their first Album, Self Titled as Brandid. Old time country in a new age world is what they are seeking. With inspired lyrics from several band members and a strong love for Texas rock/country they are sure to be on their way to a long and successful musical career.
