The music of Arwinda is an experimental, international Folk music without any restrictions. You could call it as well Astral-Folk or Gypsy-Beat, but particularly it is a fantastic sound experience! The four musicians tell their stories and musical anecdotes with the acoustic instruments of voice, accordion, clarinet, didgeridoo and percussion and draw opulent dance feasts or wide landscapes onstage with their very own sound and rhythm colors. You can feel the roots in traditional Bavarian Folk music and eastern European Gypsy music as well as classical influences. Arwindas music is dialogue between old and new, between earth and wind, between close and distant. The album 'weites Land' takes you through dream woven landscapes and to frisky feasts, through autumn storms and onto high mountains. You meet red haired, fervent women and daredevil men and from time to time smiles the Bavarian rascal in between.
