'Torre Bert' is the name of an amateur tracking station in Northern Italy, where lots of space telemetry signals were picked up by brothers Achille and Giovanni Battista Judica-Cordiglia between 1957 and 1965. These recordings included voices of the first ever cosmonauts and astronauts received by self-made equipment. Karmiciel Wszy turns this atmosphere into abstract and anxious soundscapes with translucent melodies, hidden microbasses and droning noises. Carefully mastered by James Plotkin.
