Popis - EVOLVE:
The music on 'Evolve' was written and performed solely on a Dave Smith Instruments Evolver. The composition of the tracks was based on theoretically avant-garde concepts (odd scales, minimalism, random sequencer note placement). The pieces have strangely curved hooks and lots of odd sonic bits flitting throughout the background. Yet, overall, they have a bouncy and catchy feel to them. The idea behind the record was to create entire soundscapes using only one machine - an exercise in electronic minimalism.
