The Cactus are a 3-piece coming from Rome you should have heard about. They just did a ltd. 3-song 7inch for our MUSIC FOR HATERS series that went out of print in few months and got a great answer from the Italian "major" magazines whos speaking of them, ehm-ehm, like the "next big thing"! The Cactus have their own sound and style, but their main influences are into new wave and post punk, taking inspirations from Gang Of Four, Fall, Wire, the early Sound and the late-70s UK DIY scene, but with a "garage" attitude and style. This first album was recorded live-in-studio with cheap equipment and sounds just like their amazing live sets, which are the best around, tight and great! And everybody is waiting for this record.their first one. The CD-version includes the 3 songs from their first EP. Vinyl is a ltd.edition of 350 copies.
