Four 60s hard-to-find garage classics from the Downey label, this EP includes three of the best tracks from one of the more popular in our series of Downey comps, "It Came From The Garage". These three tracks are now fetching high prices at auction on original vinyl. The combined price youd have to stump up on eBay for these three gems would be around 600. If you wanted the bootleg LP that used our title track, Hang It Out To Dry, as its title track a few years ago, youd need another 100 on top! The other two favourites on here are Drifty, which proved popular at Londons Nitty Gritty club, and the ever-popular spooky Sleepy Hollow. In addition we have, in our time-honoured tradition, a superb never-heard-before garage track. The New Breed cut one session at Downey, and none of the tracks saw release. "It Came From The Garage" featured no less than three of these unreleased tracks, all spot-on 60s garage sounds. This last track, One Gross Dream, illustrates our 7" goody with a super colour shot sent to us by the leader of the New Breed, who sadly did not live to see his great photo, or this new track, released.
