On May 28th, The Moons release 'Double Vision Love', a fuzz-beat stomper and the first single to be taken from their upcoming album Fables Of History. Whipping up their own incandescent style of sunshine pop underpinned with a timeless British tunesmith sensibility, "Double Vision Love" will be available as a limited edition 7" and download and is backed by a dreamy reworking of a Moons live favorite, "English Summer".
Fables Of History, The Moons' second album, is due for release on September 3rd through Schnitzel Records. A 12-tracker that interweaves garage rock, glistening orchestrations, and infectious rhythms, Fables of History was produced by Edwyn Collins and Seb Lewsley and was recorded over three weeks at Edwyn's West Heath Yard studio in London.
