After a lengthy pause to recover from the shock of appearing on Dragon's Den, Hamfatter are back with a fantastic new album paid for by Peter Jones. Their 4th album, Cassiopeia, has been a long time in the making, but it took that long for the band to find their way again after being plucked from the cult indie wilderness. They have experimented a lot more this time around, trying out some totally new sounds including electronica synths, 60s Hammond organ, Mellotron and some really big string arrangements. A bigger budget allowed them to push the boat out; all the way across the Atlantic in fact, with parts of the album being recorded with celebrated producer Joe Chicarelli (Frank Zappa/White Stripes) in Los Angeles!
