Booker T. Jones was a keyboardist, who along with the R&B instrumental group The MGs, recorded many charting albums on the Stax label in the late 1960s. Soul Party is a rare compilation released on vinyl only in Holland. It is now finally available on compact disc. Seven of these tracks were recorded live.
