This CD collects tracks recorded between '59 and '64, elegant compositions which, although inspired by the masters Miles Davis and John Coltrane, fell outside the standard of modern jazz era in that they were essentially meant to be background music for documentaries and films of those years. The track list includes 24 tracks of which 20 made their recording debut on Il Giaguaro Records. The packaging features eye-catching graphics, and contains an interesting booklet in which Brugnolini illustrates the different stages of his career.
