LP on black vinyl, presented in a gatefold cover including a 16-page booklet. Named after a character from an obscure German pulp fiction magazine, Kanoi is Benjamin Kantschieder's take on music influenced by the mindset of '70s space rock, his own record collection and love for sonic experimentation. 'Buru Haze' was written and recorded in winter-spring 2015 at his Viennese home studio and features a more relaxed and spaced out sound inspired by 'Meddle' to 'Obscured By Clouds'-era Pink Floyd and his interest in science-fiction literature old and new which becomes especially apparent on the 14-minute closing track 'A New Beginning And The Sprawling Sky', a song inspired by Ann Leckie's book 'Ancillary Justice'.
