unique characters in soul-history. This is a great CD-reissue of his 1971 sophomore solo-album, 'Rat On!'. Presented with some of the most notorious (or simply worst) artwork of the era, the album offers vocals reminding of Chairmen Of The
Board, Van Morrison (early Them-days) and Sly Stone. Swamp
Dogg's infectious songwriting showcases his huge talent, while
the lyrics investigate controversial topics with a refreshing
sense of humor.
