Although Deviants fans may disagree, this may very well have been the first British punk rock album ever. 'Uncrushed' was as crucial to the genre in the UK as 'Funhouse' or 'Kick Out The Jams' in the States, but it also set the tone for most of the boot-stomping terrace glam that followed (Slade, Mott and The Faces for starters). Recorded in 1970, the album was released 21 years later in a tiny run, and now it's reissued as a luxurious edition of 500 copies on 180-gram vinyl. A printed inner sleeve and extended liner notes are included.
