Founded by Juan Campos in 1977, the Horóscopo label was the major outlet for the real Peruvian chicha sound. A specific genre, chicha was characterized by a surreal and irresistible blend of psychedelic fuzztone guitars, infectious echo drenched vocals, electronic keyboards and tropical/Andean rhythms. This excellent collection contains 11 tracks taken from rare 45s and LP's.
