This was Evan Parker's first recording as a "leader" and was the first release on Incus, the label Parker founded with guitarist Derek Bailey and drummer Tony Oxley. 'The Topography Of The Lungs' comes in a limited edition of 500 copies printed on reverse board with printed inner sleeve.
