F.A.C.E. is from Troms? in the far north of Norway, consisting of Per Kristian Fox Trollvik, Paulo Velasquez and ?ivind A. Sj?voll. F.A.C.E. is their mutual lovechild although they all have other musical endevours: Per Fox is a classicaly trained piano player, and is the singer for the prog-pop band 22, Paulo plays the drums for the hardcore band, Turdus Musicus, and ?ivind is a DJ, club organizer and is also behind the electronica project Kohib.F.A.C.E. was concieved by Per and Paulo at a late night after-party: why not make electro-pop?? ?ivind soon joined forces with them as band member/producer, and magic things started to happen. All in all an unpretentious salute to everything fun! With lyrics that echo the decadence of sweaty dancefloors, broken hearts, spilled champagne and one night stands, mixed with beautiful melodies and captivating beats, it?s hard not to get carried away... The band have gotten a solid live reputation in Norway, with key live performances at festivals such as Oslo Fashion Week, Insomnia Festival (Troms?), NuMusic (Stavanger), By:Larm (Oslo) and Troms? Sound City. Their debut single Component was a cult hit on iTunes last year, followed by a video and several fan-videos on YouTube. The debut album consists of irresistable electro-pop and power ballads, with Per?s fantastic voice, thundering beats and a sharp production as the key elements. F.A.C.E. loves you!!!
