Reissue on 180-gram vinyl, coming with a 4-page insert. 'Small Talk' is the seventh album by Sly & The Family Stone, originally released in 1974. It was the last LP to feature the original Family Stone line-up, which broke up in January 1975. The LP includes the singles 'Time For Livin' (the band's final Top 40 hit) and 'Loose Booty'. The latter is an up-tempo funk track with the names of Bible characters Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego chanted. Parts of the song were sampled by the Beastie Boys for their 1989 release 'Paul's Boutique'.
