The stage is set for one of the most anticipated Hip-Hop releases of the year. C. Flame, born Calvin Bridgeforth, is one of the most prominent rappers to emerge from the Inkster streets. Born and raised in Inkster, MI, C. Flame understands the struggle of the streets and has chose rap as the way to grind his way out. C. Flame is an extraordinary MC who made a name for himself, standing above a crowded city of rappers. C. Flame’s first experiences in the rap world came through performing in Talent shows. From there he went on to performing at local clubs and neighborhood events. His amazing talent and smooth flow landed him on the 'Black Russian Presents: The Rush' album in 2003. Although this project did not live up to the hype, it taught Flame a lot about working in the music industry and the importance of being humble. When C. Flame decided to name his newest album Dollars Over Everything, BIG BANK RECORDS was the obvious avenue to get that point across. He was stating the truth: a bold proclamation that in street life, nothing comes above money…period. Although Flame is not known to most people outside of Michigan, his local record sales have made him a certified MC and a credible rap star. Now the rest of the world will be able to hear what has put C. Flame in such high demand. Working with Big Bank Records allows Flame to have total creative control.
