The life of MAGNOLIA began in ?m?l in 1994 when Ronny Eriksson started to write his own music. Inspired by the music from the late sixties and early seventien he recorded his first songs on a Fostex channel porta studio. The musical project was called MAGNOLIA. The name came from the old BLUE CHEER song "Magnolia caboze babyfinger". Ronny played bass, guitar, keyboards and sang and the drums were played by Anders Hedstr?m. MAGNOLIA?S second album "Falska v?gar" is recorded in Love Tholin?s studio "Drop out analogue studio" in ?m?l between late 2007 and summer 2008. Mr. Tholin really has managed to capture the real sound of MAGNOLIA. It really sounds live, dynamic and energic! As on the debut album the music on "Falska v?gar" can be described as heavy progressive bluesy rock with lot of improvisations in the vein of CREAM, JACK BRUCE, MOUNTAIN, NOVEMBER, FREE, MECKI MARK MEN and their likes.
