After a break of several years from recording in her own right, (during which time she guested on albums by VANGELIS, WISHBONE ASH, JON ANDERSON & STEVE HOWE) CLAIRE HAMILL returned to the music scene with this innovative album that saw contributions from GARY NUMAN, DICK MORRISEYand many more. "Touchpaper" featured such memorable songs as "First Night in New York", "Denmark", "The Moon is a Powerful Lover" and "Ultra Violet Light". The record would later be an influence on the Ambient Dance scene a decade later and ranks as one of Claires most unique works. With liner notes by Claire, this ESOTERIC RECORDINGS reissue adds four bonus tracks taken from singles recorded and released between 1983 - 1985.
