Of course this shift was caused by the establishment of Philadelphia International Records, the label that launched the careers of a.o. The Delfonics, The O'Jays, Three Degrees, Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes and many, many others. This 24-track compilation is dedicated to the legacy of that incredible chapter in soul history as well as the city of Philadelphia.
