Popis - BANDERA DOO WOP:
Vi Muszynskis Chicago-based label is most famous for the first-ever recordings of the Impressions. This CD gathers all their Bandera rehearsals and demos together for the first time.
Of the 11 tracks, seven are previously unreleased. All have been remastered to provide the finest possible sound. On nine tracks the line-up is Jerry Butler, Curtis Mayfield and Sam Gooden, while Fred Cash replaces Butler on the other two. A rare, but very special, doo wop release from Ace. Most doo wop is already available, but occasionally something rare and unreleased comes along. This is the latest in Ace's Deluxe limited edition series and wil be a limited pressing of 1500 only. Of the 26 tracks, 22 are appearing on legal CD for the first time. Compilation and notes by Ian Saddler, package includes rare photos.
