'A TRIBUTE TO BLUE ÖYSTER CULT'- A collaboration between Rock Impressions and Black Widow Records. "Among the artists involved we find Albert Bouchard, founding member of BÖC, who revisited the old classic 'Baby Ice Dog' from the second album. Other important names include Jim Gustafson, Poobah's original guitar player, Scott Heller (Oresund Space Collective, Doctors Of Space) and English band Transmaniacon, who took its name from the first song of the first BÖC album. We also find international acts such as Smed (ex-Graviators) and Ape Shifter. Most of the bands are Italian and the main reason is that I wanted to promote BOC music in my country and, at the same time, to let the world know how many talented Italian bands there really are. Among these many bands a few names are already well known outside of Italy, like Jack Meille (Tygers Of Pan Tang singer) and Belladonna who works a lot in the USA. The very famous Death SS contributed with a great rendition of 'Godzilla.' Few bands formed just for this project such as
Spectres Dead Dream, but every band put a lot of enthusiastic energy into the project by giving 100%." ~Giancarlo Bolther (executive producer).
